All the ways to use our leather handle (with your scarves)

Our leather handles are designed to turn a scarf into a real bag in just a few steps. Depending on the size of the scarf, you can create a more compact format (handbag), a large tote bag, or even a hybrid belt combining leather and silk/cotton to accessorize an outfit. The idea is simple: the scarf creates the volume, and the handles provide structure and carrying comfort.

Create a handbag with a medium-sized scarf

Recommended scarf: small square 65 × 65 cm (or equivalent size)

  1. Fold the scarf lengthwise. Fold your scarf in half, then in half again if needed, to create a wide and even band.
  2. Form the base of the bag. Fold in the ends (the corners) to create a square or rectangular shape, depending on the desired look (more structured or softer).
  3. Attach the scarf to the handle rings. Thread each end of the scarf through the handle rings, then adjust the length on each side to balance the drape.
  4. Tie securely and adjust. Make a clean, tight knot on each side. Then adjust the volume of the scarf so the base is stable and the bag keeps a nice shape.

Result: an ideal everyday handbag, with a perfect balance between practicality and elegance.

Create a tote bag with a large scarf

Recommended scarf: large square 130 × 130 cm (or equivalent size)

  1. Lay the scarf flat. Place it fully open on a clean surface.
  2. Shape the tote bag through folding. Fold the sides toward the center to create volume, then adjust the height depending on the desired bag size. You obtain a “large pouch” shape that will become your tote bag.
  3. Use the corners to create attachments. Identify the top corners: these will be used to attach to the handle rings.
  4. Attach to the handles. Pass each corner through a ring, then tie securely. Repeat on the other side. Adjust the fabric to balance the bag and create an even opening.

Result: a spacious tote bag, perfect for carrying your essentials (and more), while remaining comfortable to wear thanks to the leather handles.

Create a hybrid belt: leather and scarf

Recommended scarves (depending on the desired effect):

  • 130 × 130 cm square: for a fuller look with elegant flowing ends
  • 65 × 65 cm square: for a more discreet, jewelry-like effect
  1. Fold the scarf into a strip. Fold it in half, then again until you obtain a strip about 5 to 10 cm wide (depending on the desired style).
  2. Combine leather and scarf. Pass the scarf strip through the handle elements/rings (or around them) to create an attachment point. The goal is to combine a structured leather part with a softer, decorative scarf element.
  3. Adjust at the waist. Position the belt, then adjust the length and symmetry of the ends. Tie neatly (single or double knot depending on the material) to secure the whole.
  4. Finish the look. Arrange the fabric for a balanced drape: longer ends on the side for an elegant effect, or shorter ends for a more minimal look.

Result: a unique belt that combines the structure of leather with the lightness of a scarf — perfect for defining the waist over a plain dress or elevating a coat.
