Wool scarves - The signature of Inoui Editions
Wool scarf: warmth, softness and the Inoui Editions signature
Warm, enveloping and deeply sensory, wool is an essential fibre for the autumn/winter season. For over 15 years, Inoui Editions has explored its technical and weaving variations to create unique wool scarves, balancing absolute comfort with artistic expression. Each season, our collections are renewed through original drawings and exceptional textile craftsmanship.
Why choose an Inoui Editions wool scarf?
Wool enhances the motif and reveals colour with remarkable depth. At Inoui Editions, each wool Scarf becomes a textile canvas at the crossroads of printmaking and painting. The illustrations tell a story, express an imaginary world, and evoke something fantastical or poetic. Through generous sizes and a fluid drape, our pieces unfold like an exhibition in their own right.
Illustrated by our in-house artists
Each wool Scarf by Inoui Editions begins with an original drawing, created by hand in our design studio in France. Designed to suit the specific character of the material, the motifs play with volume and contrast. Vivid colours, imaginary bestiaries, abstract landscapes, each textile composition reflects a distinctive graphic world, created to resonate within the very heart of wool.
Made with respect for textile craftsmanship
Wool comes to life in a historic workshop in India, with which we have worked since the house was founded. Artisanal weaving, printing and hand finishes. This savoir faire, passed down and refined over time, allows our illustrated wool Scarves to combine textile quality with visual richness.
A commitment to quality in every detail of our wool Scarf craftsmanship
Our wool Scarves are crafted with the greatest care, from the selection of noble fibres to the fineness of the weave and the brilliance of the prints. Textile research guides every step, creating pieces that are durable, expressive and comfortable. Designed to move through the seasons, they suit every silhouette, feminine or masculine, and stand out as timeless wardrobe staples.
How to wear a wool Scarf with elegance?
Tied around the neck, draped over the shoulders, belted over a coat or worn as a stole, a wool Scarf offers endless styles. Thanks to generous sizes, it suits cold winter days as well as in between seasons. Our pieces are designed for women and men alike, playing with materials, motifs and colours.
Wool at the heart of Inoui Editions’ savoir-faire
Wool is an essential material in the Inoui Editions universe. It appears on our illustrated Scarves, and also across our collections of Square scarves and textile accessories, in constant dialogue with our artistic inspirations. Each season, the house explores new combinations and new textures, continuing to make wool a field for experimentation, elegance and emotion. At Inoui Editions, the promise remains unchanged: to surprise, to delight and to pass on.

Everything you need to know about our wool scarves
At Inouï Éditions, we select soft, fine wools, carefully treated to ensure a pleasant feel. Our scarves are designed to provide warmth and comfort without compromising on softness. If you are especially sensitive, you may prefer even more delicate fibres such as cashmere, known for its exceptional fineness, or choose a wool–cotton blend—lighter and more breathable, while still offering a beautiful drape.
Winter, of course, but also early spring or autumn, depending on the region. Wool regulates temperature and adapts to changes in weather: it protects without ever feeling stifling.
Prefer cold hand washing or dry cleaning. Dry flat without twisting to preserve the fibres and the vibrancy of the design. Avoid excessive rubbing or direct heat sources.
We select fine, soft wools, carefully woven in our partner workshop in India. Depending on the collection, you will find pure wools or blends with cotton or cashmere, designed to combine warmth, comfort and a beautiful drape.
We recommend cold hand washing or dry cleaning. Wool is a delicate fibre that requires special care. Machine washing, even at low temperature, can affect the texture and the design. To preserve your scarf, avoid rubbing or wringing.
