How to use a fouta?

Fine, lightweight, elegant, and easy to carry, the fouta has conquered the beaches… and much more. Sometimes a bath towel, sometimes a pareo, occasionally a throw or a decorative accessory, it naturally establishes itself as a must-have for sunny days (and a practical ally in daily life).
But first: what is a fouta, and how can you recognize it?
